I could've sworn this episode was planned for the 28th.

Possible continuity error. The exterior shot of the factory right before Laura finishes the program shows that it is getting dark. But when the return to the past is started it is completely daylight again. Granted since I don't know French it may be that this is actually the next morning (I don't know which way the factory would face so I can't tell if the sun is going down or coming up), if it is indeed the sun coming up then it happened really quickly. Either way it's the result of a using the same RTTP shot from Ep4. Which seems a bit lazy (But not surprising as we've had several recycled shots already).

This was a really good episode. My one problem with it though is that Laura remembered really quickly. I think I would rather have her remember gradually over the course of a couple of episodes. But this works well enough.

I find it amusing that Laura is a genius and yet didn't see William in the library because he was holding a book in front of his face. :teehee:
It's amazing how even in live action there's still a handful of cartoon logic sprinkled in.

And that's what they'd look like if they were still animated. Happy? http://fav.me/d5dtuvd

At least it's one of their less annoying habits.

I have to say those Ninja's are pretty awesome. I mean they really ganged up on Ulrich.
Also I have to say that splash of virtual blood (The virtual dust that splatters out of them when they're hit, particularly by swords) is almost a bit gruesome. And it's oddly dark too.

Well hopefully if it gets picked up for another season the budget will increase (As is the practice for popular American shows). I mean every other episode they seem to throw in a few new transition shots of the school and stuff, but eventually it's going to get tiring seeing the same stuff used again and again. I'm hoping they throw us a bone and give us a shot of them running across the bridge at some point.

Budget or not though what was the point of showing the factory at dusk if the next exterior shot was going to ignore that and be day again? If they seriously don't have the money to make multiple versions of the RTTP that's fine, but why even put in a dusk shot which only highlights the lack of other dusk shots to go with it. Just because they have a limited budget doesn't mean it has to be that apparent.

I can live with repeated shots though(After all I tolerated them for four seasons already, what's one more). I'd just prefer they didn't do it in a way that causes continuity errors.

I found it funny that even up to season 4 before the characters changed their clothes, they were still using the season 1 scanner footage. But what's really hilarious is that they reused footage of Jeremie sitting in the lab from season 1 even AFTER they changed their clothes. They just recolored his sweater red LOL. Talk about cutting corners.

I was wondering if we were ever going to see the celestial dome and heart of lyoko again. They were here but felt lifeless. The fact we saw a very limited part of the dome leads me to wonder if they will ever fully reanimate it.

Good episode, although, as much as I dislike Laura, I thought William would've been on her side more, because he's been in her shoes? Regardless, she tampered with the RTTP program so she can remember, or something similar? Not liking her one bit. Though I must say, she has been cast well, you can just see hints of smugness which definitely helps when you can't understand the language. Either that or I'm being subconsciously pedantic and hateful towards her.

Fake typing is starting to bug me.

Loving the background music.

I think this episode get's rid of any last live-action Odd haters, and both William's phone case and book-face-covering was awesome.

I'm starting to notice something with the Lyoko scenes in this versus the previous seasons. There's less details in the characters and environments, but everything just seems so much more alive and vibrant here. It's kind of like compared to Evolution's Lyoko scenes, the old ones were a bit vacant and bland. Just something I feel after watching an episode of season 4 today,
